Each ribbon lei is 100% handmade with aloha, with satin ribbons, kukui nuts and green leaves. To make our Azalea ribbon leis, each piece of ribbon must be prepped prior to sewing. Preparation includes measuring and marking each ribbon to a specific length, then cutting each piece at the markings, individually by hand. They are then sewn together with green leaves and kukui nuts to create our beautiful Azalea ribbon leis.

To make our Cowrey Shell leis, each Cowrey Shell is handpicked individually. They are measured and sized accordingly, so that a hole can be drilled into each individual shell. We have ribbon ties and Hawaiian Kukui nuts on each end of our Cowrey Shell leis.

Each of our Akulikuli ribbon leis are made by hand and measure approximately 36 inches in length.
Although making our ribbon leis are very tedious work, we enjoy sharing them and seeing the precious smiles when they are given and received.
To start making out Akulikuli ribbon lei, we must prepare our ribbon prior to sewing them together. Each piece of ribbon that is sticking out, is carefully measured and marked by hand. Then they are cut by hand into individual pieces. How many ribbons does each lei po’o take, you might be thinking. To tell you the truth, I don’t know. I gave up counting after 100 pieces. Next the pieces that were cut are sewn together with the other ribbons.
